I hear ya. It's been low for awhile here lately. Hopefully it stays that way.

Thanks.

very pleasing to look at. What brushes/ software were used?

WonderfulMrSwallow responds:

I used Photoshop and some custom brushes from another artist, sorry it's been a while since it was painted.

The colors are fantastic they all complement each other, the textures of your bushes are great as well. That's the problem I am having with y digital art, I can't find good brushes.

Pelboy responds:

Thanks! It went through a few colour combos. For brushes I think this pack is cool: http://houstonsharp.deviantart.com/art/My-Brushes-424639896

There's loads in there! I haven't used all of them yet. If you're after traditional looking strokes I would say it's a good idea to make your own as well. It's usually about contrast, mix a hard edge brush with a noisy/grainy surface and you can get some nice results.

Haha ya, it stays in the hundreds where I'm at during this time of the year.

summer is fun is it not?

I believe we must live our lives to the fullest, not that we should feel good about it because then we would have no sense of pride, but if we do not worry , I believe, everything will turn out alright. We can live in joy, the world has polluted the very definition of beauty, so we strive, every day, do the best we can to not worry about the thoughts of others because only the truest of friends will see the real you, anyone else is not worth our while. So do not worry, because you are beautiful!

Xephio responds:

Yep, i always start with the shadow

What software did you use for this?
The way you did the fur is spot on!

JJColours responds:

I used Autodesk Sketchbook, and I make most of my own brushes :) Thank you so much!

Color and posing wise yes, but the characteristics have all seemed very different. If that even makes sense.

Xephio responds:

Posing is something I keep dissapointing myself at. I really need to stop with the boring front-shot idle poses
